Zelf Hussain, Rachael Maria Wilkinson and Mark James Tobias Banfield have been appointed as Joint Administrators of National Car Parks Limited to manage its affairs, business and property, and act without personal liability. The Joint Administrators are licensed in the United Kingdom to act as Insolvency Practitioners by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

The Joint Administrators may act as controllers of personal data as defined by UK data protection law depending upon the specific processing activities undertaken. The Joint Administrators continue to trade the NCP business, however, following an initial assessment of operations, 22 sites have been identified that are commercially unviable and will be closed from 27 March 2026. The other 318 car parks remain open and there are no further sites identified for closure at this time. The 22 sites identified for closure can be found at pwc.co.uk/ncp.

How do I download the NCP App and is it free?

  • The NCP app can be downloaded from Google Play Store or Apple App Store and is available on devices with Android 5+ and iOS 14+

How do I pay using the NCP App at a Pay and Display location? 

  1. Register your app account including your payment details before you arrive to park
  2. Select the pay and display car park on the map screen you’re parking at and select how long you want to park for
  3. Press ‘pay now’ and your parking session will start
  4. Extend your parking remotely if you need more time. You will receive a push notification from the NCP App when you are close to the end of your session. Make sure you enable notifications in the settings to receive these

How do I pay using the NCP App at a barrier location?

  1. Register your app account including your payment details before you arrive to park​
  2. DO NOT push for a paper ticket when you arrive. Parking using the app is ticketless
  3. Instead, scan the QR code at the entry and exit barriers to gain access and pay for parking
  4. Payment for your stay will automatically be taken from your payment card after scanning to exit

Do I have access to history and receipts on my account?

  • You certainly do! Click profile and then history and receipts. You can even download your receipt as a PDF

How do I add a promo code?

  • If you have a promo code through your business, you’ll need to add a promo code and activation code if you have one

How do I search for a car park?

  • There is a search function on the app. You can search via location code, postcode and city/town

How many vehicle registration numbers can I add on one account?

  • You can add 4 vehicle registration numbers on one account
